The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation and obstacles of students not paying attention to the teacher's explanation at MI Yanida. This study uses qualitative research with the subjects of students and teachers MI Yanida. The research instruments used were documentation, field notes and observations. The results showed that some students who did not pay attention to the teacher's explanation were not good, so it can be concluded that there was an effect of the teacher's explanation on student understanding.
