Abstract

This study raises the importance of implementing online learning design in learning in elementary schools so that the learning process is more effective. Online learning is learning that is carried out online or indirectly using the help of commuting devices or gadgets that can be interconnected where teachers and students can communicate by utilizing the media. There are many applications that can be used in online learning. For example: google, zoom, whatsapp grub, and so on. And for MI/SD children, of course, they must be under parental supervision when using the application. That way teachers are required to be able to design online learning that is appropriate and in accordance with the material, can use videos, writing or anything else. This study aims to describe the strategy for implementing online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at Yakmi Islamic Elementary School. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The object of this research is a fifth grade teacher at Yakmi Islamic Elementary School. The technique used in this research is observation, online interview via zoom and documentation.
