Abstract

The implementation of this activity aims to provide knowledge on how to improve students' insights / knowledge in all fields. Specifically this activity aims to help students improve reading skills by applying the SQ3R method and the PQRST method. Stages of the implementation of activities include: observation / observation, preparation / planning, implementation and evaluation. In general the results of the activities showed that there was an increase in the percentage of students' reading skills after the training in applying the SQ3R and PQRST methods. For the level of reading skills "very low" pre-training with post-training decreased by 12.4%. The level of reading skills "low" pre-training with post-training decreased by 7.1%. The level of "adequate" reading skills pre-training with post-training has increased by 10.9%. The level of "high" reading skills pre-training with post-training has increased by 5.9%. The level of reading skills "very high" pre-training with post-training increased by 2.7%.
