Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran terhadap Kemampuan Mahasiswa dalam Menerapkan Model-Model Pembelajaran pada Perkuliahan Pembelajaran Matematika SD/MI

Abstract

The research population was students in the fifth semester of the STIT Palapa Nusantara Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education study program. The sample was selected using purposive random sampling with three steps: (1) randomly selecting 2 classes from the 3 available classes, (2) selecting 8 groups, each consisting of 4 students, from each selected class, and (3) randomly select groups that apply each learning model. Data were analyzed using the T2 Hotellings multivariate test at a significance level of 5% (0.05) for two-sided testing and a univariate test at a significance level of 0.025. The results of data analysis are as follows. (1) There is a difference in the influence of the STAD type cooperative learning method and the simulation learning method on students' abilities in the theory and application of learning methods in elementary/MI Mathematics learning courses (Fobserved = 6.76 > Ftable = F0.05;(2) ;65) = 3.14). (2) The ability of theoretical learning methods through the STAD type cooperative learning method is higher than through the simulation learning method in Elementary/MI Mathematics Learning courses (tcount = 2.28 > ttable(0.025) = 2.00). (3) The ability to apply learning methods through simulation learning methods is higher than through STAD type cooperative learning methods in elementary/MI Mathematics Learning courses (tcount = 4.05 > ttable(0.025) = 2.00).
