Abstract
This study is motivated by the variation in the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching methods and the suboptimal religious attitudes among some students at SMKN 1 Keruak. The objective is to examine the effect of PAI teaching methods on the religious attitudes of tenth- and eleventh-grade students. A quantitative survey approach was employed, with purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate a significant influence of PAI teaching methods on students’ religious attitudes, with a contribution of 62%. These findings imply the importance of selecting varied, contextual, and student-characteristic-based teaching methods to foster positive and sustainable religious attitudes.
