Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Pendidikan Agama Islam untuk Meningkatkan Karakter Generasi Muda di Desa Keruak

Abstract

This research aims to examine community empowerment through Islamic religious education training in order to improve the character of the younger generation in Keruak Village. In facing the challenges of globalization and technological developments, the character of the young generation in this village tends to be influenced by external factors that can reduce understanding of religion and moral values. Therefore, Islamic religious education training is held to strengthen the character of the younger generation through an approach that integrates Islamic teachings with everyday life. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using observation, interview and documentation techniques to collect data. The research results show that this training is effective in increasing understanding of the Islamic religion and improving the character of the younger generation, such as increasing discipline, responsibility and social awareness. Apart from that, this training also has a positive impact in strengthening social relations between residents and increasing the active role of youth in social activities in the village. It is hoped that this Islamic religious education training can become a model for community empowerment in forming a young generation with noble character and competitiveness.
