Implementasi Bermain Simulasi Lalu Lintas Untuk Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Anak

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of learning through playing traffic simulations on the discipline of children in Iqra Penendem Kindergarten, Keruak District. This research is a classroom action research, which was carried out at Iqra Penendem Kindergarten in the 2017/2018 academic year. This research was carried out for 4 months, from November 2017 to February 2018. The subjects of the research were Iqra Penendem Kindergarten students for the 2017/2018 academic year aged 3-4 years as many as 30 children. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of data analysis and observations through traffic simulations show an increase from the pre-cycle of 25% of children who complete their discipline, increasing in the first cycle to 65%. This means that there is an increase of 40%. And in the second cycle increased to 85% and an increase of 20%. The results achieved in the second cycle have met the target of completeness that has been set, namely 85% of all children scored with a complete category, namely a score of 85. This increase in average value proves that the success of traffic simulation can improve children's discipline.
