Abstract

The social skills and cooperation of group B children in Nurul Falah Mendana Kindergarten are less than optimal, based on these observations the researchers found ideas, ideas or plans to conduct classroom action research by using whirlwind game activities in Nurul Falah Mendana Kindergarten in developing children's social skills and cooperation. The first problem studied in this study is whether the whirlwind game can improve children's social skills and cooperation through collaboration? The second problem is what are the supporting factors and obstacles of the whirlwind game in improving children's social skills and cooperation in Nurul Falah Mendana Kindergarten?. The purpose of the study was to improve children's social skills and cooperation in playing whirlwind and the supporting factors and obstacles of whirlwind games in improving children's social skills and cooperation in Nurul Falah Mendana Kindergarten. Classroom Action Research was conducted at Nurul Falah Mendana Kindergarten, Keruak District, East Lombok. The method used in this research is the Classroom Action Research method. The research was carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Quantitative and qualitative data collection. The indicators of success are as follows: the increase in social skills and cooperation of children is more than 80% and the teacher's performance is at least Good, with a percentage of 3.00. From the analysis of the research data in the first cycle, the results of the children's social skills and cooperation in playing whirlwind were 45% in the very poor category, then continued with improvements to the second cycle and the research results increased by 70% in the sufficient category. To further maximize children's social skills and cooperation through playing with whirlwind, the researchers continued to improve to cycle III with a very good increase of 90%. Based on the research results, the researchers concluded that playing whirlwind in Nurul Falah Mendana Kindergarten can improve children's social and cooperative skills and also improve teacher performance. Based on the results of the study, it can be suggested to use the whirlwind game in providing learning, especially to improve social skills and cooperation in early childhood.
