Abstract

This program aimed to enhance teachers’ and educational staff’s literacy and understanding of the fundamental concepts and practical implementation of deep learning in instructional contexts, while also providing a collaborative space for educators to share experiences and showcase best practices, particularly for teachers at SMA IT Syaikh Abdurrahman Kotaraja. The training was conducted in response to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education's policy promoting the application of deep learning approaches in teaching and learning processes. The training methods included theoretical material delivery, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises in designing deep learning-based instructional tools. Analysis of participants’ comprehension tests revealed a significant improvement, with an average score increase of 30%. This initiative not only successfully provided a foundational understanding of the deep learning approach but also fostered teachers’ enthusiasm for developing more meaningful and student-centered learning innovations.
