Peran Guru dalam Membangun Kualitas Pembelajaran Siswa di Kelas III SDN 09 Sungai Janiah

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education teachers have an important role in building the quality of learning. Teachers who carry out their role in teaching, may be able to build the quality of learning of students and generate interest in learning. Therefore, teachers must carry out their role in accordance with their nature as educators by guiding every student's development. This study aims to analyze the role of PAI teachers in building the quality of PAI learning. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources were taken from twelve informants through in-depth interviews selected using purposive sampling technique . The twelve informants consisted of the principal, Islamic Religious Education teacher and students in class III of SDN 09 Sungai Janiah. All interview results were then systematically analyzed using the Milles & Hubberman Interactive Analysis Model technique. Overall, the results of the research analysis show that the role of teachers in building the quality of Islamic Education learning in students is, i) teachers as informators, ii) teachers as motivators, iii) teachers as facilitators, iv) teachers as mentors, v) teachers as evaluators. The results of this study can be used as an evaluation material for teachers in managing and developing the quality of student learning.
