Abstract
This study aims to apply an inquiry learning model based on Google Classroom to improve critical thinking skills and physics learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 2 Mataram in the 2020/2021 academic year. The design of this research is classroom action research which takes place in two cycles which are carried out online (in the network). The subjects of this study were 34 class X MIPA-1 students. Data collection was carried out using the test method to obtain data on students' thinking abilities on the measurement material given at the end of each cycle and observation to obtain learning activity data. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The research results obtained were (1) the increase in students' critical thinking skills as evidenced by the results of learning aspects of the original knowledge in the initial conditions an average of 72, increased to 83 in cycle I, and increased again to 85 in cycle II, while the learning outcomes in aspects the original skills in the initial conditions averaged 69, increased to 78 in cycle I, and increased again to 86 in cycle II. For the percentage of learning completeness (knowledge), students who completed the initial conditions were 22.86% (8 people), increased 62.86% (22 people) in cycle I, and increased again 91.43% (32 people) in cycle II. Learning completeness (skills), students who complete the initial conditions 22.86% (8 people), increased 62.86% (22 people) in cycle I, and increased again 91.43% (32 people) in cycle II; and (2) increased learning activity of students as evidenced by an increase in learning activity, namely 71.43% (active category) in cycle I, increased to 94.29% (very active category) in cycle II.
