Pengaruh Metode Ceramah dan Perilaku Teman Sebaya terhadap Akhlak Siswa kepada Guru di SMKN 1 Sibolga

Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of the lecture method and peer behavior on students’ moral conduct toward teachers at SMKN 1 Sibolga. The background of this research is based on the observed decline in students’ respect for teachers, which is suspected to be influenced by the teaching methods employed and students’ interactions with their peers. This research adopts a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population consists of all Muslim students at SMKN 1 Sibolga, with a purposive sample of Grade XI students. Data were collected through questionnaires, and the data analysis techniques included quantitative descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The findings indicate that the lecture method has a significant influence on students’ moral conduct toward teachers. Likewise, peer behavior significantly contributes to the development of students’ moral character. These findings suggest that teaching methods and the students’ social environment play an important role in shaping their character and ethics toward educators. Therefore, teachers should pay attention to the effectiveness of the lecture method and strive to foster a positive and conducive learning environment.
