Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between student learning styles and the effectiveness of blended learning in the Management Accounting course at STIT Palapa Nusantara. The study employs a quantitative method with a survey design. The sample consists of 35 students. The instruments used include a learning style questionnaire based on the VARK model and an assessment of blended learning effectiveness based on three aspects: satisfaction, understanding, and student engagement. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation tests. The results indicate that blended learning has a high level of effectiveness, with an average score of 82 out of 100, particularly in the aspect of student engagement (90/100). Visual learning style predominates (40%), and the correlation test shows a significant relationship between learning style and blended learning effectiveness (r = 0.68, p < 0.01). Visual students benefit more from visual-based online elements, while kinesthetic students require an approach based on hands-on activities. The success of blended learning is influenced by its alignment with students' learning styles, and a more inclusive instructional design with a balance between online and face-to-face elements is highly recommended to enhance learning effectiveness.
