Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA melalui Penerapan Metode Diskusi pada Siswa Kelas VIII-A MTs NW Lenek 1

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is an increase in science learning outcomes for class VIII-A students by implementing the discussion method in the learning process. This research was conducted at MTs NW Lenek 1 and the objects of this classroom action research were students in class VIII-A for the 2022/2023 academic year. The aim of this classroom action research is to determine the improvement in science learning outcomes through the application of the discussion method. This research was conducted for 3 months, namely February to April 2023. The percentage of student learning completeness in science subjects after applying the discussion method in cycle I was 68% and in cycle II was 100%, this indicates that learning was quite successful. This shows an increase in learning outcomes. This also proves that applying the discussion method can improve students' science learning outcomes in learning.
