Penerapan Metode Kooperatif Tipe STAD dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) pada Siswa Kelas XII-A SMAN 1 Sukamulia

Abstract

In achieving the educational goals mandated by the law, which include equipping students with logical, analytical, systematic, critical, and creative thinking skills, teachers are required to use learning models that make the material easily understood by students. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to determine the extent to which student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) improve through the application of the Cooperative Learning Type STAD method. This CAR was conducted in two cycles. The results showed that the actions taken significantly improved student learning outcomes, achieving the set classical completeness standard of 85%. Classical completeness increased from 71% in Cycle I to 93% in Cycle II. There was also an improvement in student activity, from a category of moderately active in Cycle I to active in Cycle II. The findings of this research indicate that the application of the Cooperative Learning Type STAD method can enhance student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn), achieving a completeness rate of 93%.
