Tinjauan Hukum Islam terhadap Perbuatan Zina dan Dampaknya pada Aspek Kehidupan

Abstract

This journal discusses the act of zina (adultery/fornication) from the perspective of Islamic law in Indonesia and its impact on various aspects of social and legal life. Zina is a grave violation condemned in the Qur’an and Hadith, and it has serious consequences for the moral fabric of society. This study aims to raise public awareness of the dangers of zina and its consequences, both at the individual and collective levels. Using a qualitative approach, the study refers to sources of Islamic law such as the Qur’an, Hadith, and the prevailing legal regulations in Indonesia to examine the relevance of religious norms to the positive legal system. The findings indicate that zina not only violates religious provisions but also disrupts social stability, damages family structures, and triggers various legal and health issues. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of Islamic law and the strengthening of moral values within society are essential in preventing the spread of this deviant behavior. The implication is that fair law enforcement and the active roles of religious and educational institutions are necessary to build collective awareness and strengthen social resilience against the negative impacts of zina.
