This research is motivated because there are several findings regarding the discrepancy of student book analysis in the 2013 curriculum. This study aims to determine the analysis of the content of student book materal. This research method uses a library research approach. Data sources used in this research are books, journals, and internet sites related to the chosen topic. Data collection techniques by identifying discourse from books, articles, journals, internet and other related information. Then analyzed with descriptive analysis method, which is by collecting and compiling a data, then a analysis of the data is carried out. From the results of the analysis of Islamic Culture History student books, the results obtained from the author, the Islamic Cultural History student book, are quite feasible to be used as a reference for learning for students. Because some of the books have met the criteria in accordance with the contents contained therein.
