Pengaruh Media Film Strip terhadap Pemahaman Konsep IPA Kelas IV SDN Sukamaju

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of film strip media on understanding the concept of science. This study uses a quasi experimental research method with the design Nonequivalen Control Group Design. The subject population in this study were students of class IV SD Negri Sukamaju by taking a sample of two classes of 66 students, namely class IV A totaling 32 students as the control class. The data collection technique was using multiple choice concept comprehension test questions consisting of 20 valid and reliable questions. To test the pretest hypothesis manually counting, in this study the t test was used. The t test results obtained a value of 1,418 < 1,705, so it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the control class and the experimental class. Where as for the postest hypothesis testing from the t test the value was 1,77 > 1,75, it could be concluded the there was a significant difference between the control class students who did not use strip film media and the experimental class students who were given strip film media on understanding the concept of science. This can be interpreted that the film strip media is higher than not using film media.
