Abstract

This research aims to find out the relationship of parent roles with the motivation of learning students of Grade V SD Negeri Kalideres 04 Evening West Jakarta. The method used in this study is quantitative correlation research (survey). Techniques used are observation, interview, poll dissemination, and documentation studies. The total population is 62 students of grade V sdn Kalideres 04 Evening West Jakarta. Sampling technique using simple random sampling taken as many as 32 students grade V SDN Kalideres 04 Evening West Jakarta,  it's been tested for validity. Hypothetical testers used the correlation formula produck moment which was beginning with the chi squared test of the data obtained. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship of parent role (X) with the performancek moment correlation test of 0.99 which means to be at intervals of 0.800-1.00 which has a very high correlation. For the hypothesis test, data was obtained for a thitung value of 54.22 while ttabel (0.05) was 2.04. This indicates that the value of thitung ≥ ttabel which means Ho is rejected. From the results of this study there is a relationship of parent role with student learning motivation.
