Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine students' understanding of the concepts in integer count operations using APE cards. This research was conducted in one of South Tangerang Elementary Schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach supported by interviews with fourth grade teachers and also 6 students as samples. The results of this study indicate that students' understanding of integer count operations still occurs misconceptions with only the learning process through theory alone in the absence of APE as a support for the learning process that is designed as attractive as possible to create a learning process that is fun and can also be easily understood by students
