Abstract

This study uses a case study qualitative research. In this study, collecting descriptive data obtained from data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research data shows that almost all mathematics subject matter is considered difficult by students who have difficulty learning mathematics. The difficulty of students in learning mathematics is shown by the inability of students to work on questions and questions from the teacher. Students also assume that mathematics is a subject that is difficult to learn. Based on the results of research and discussion, this research can be concluded that the material that is considered difficult by students who have difficulty learning mathematics, namely: multiplication, division, KPK and FPB, simple rank and root, time, distance, speed, trapezoidal area and elevated area -flake.
