Abstract

The low student learning outcomes at SD Negeri Kampung Melayu III are due to the lack of direct student involvement in the learning process. This research aims to improve learning outcomes and the implementation of the learning process using teaching aids in SD Negeri Kampung Melayu III. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of research on the use of teaching aids in natural science subjects in an effort to improve student learning outcomes at SD Negeri Kampung Melayu III, it is known that science learning at SD Negeri Kampung Melayu III is mostly used by teachers using teaching aids as a tool in the learning process. In the implementation of Natural Science learning, teachers use very varied teaching aids. With various teaching aids that emphasize the activeness and creativity of teachers and students in learning, teachers must be able to build a good classroom atmosphere so that learning goes well and learning objectives can be achieved. It can be concluded that the use of teaching aids can increase student activity in student learning outcomes at SD Negeri Kampung Melayu III.
