Abstract

The aim of this research is. 1) Describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum thematic learning. 2) Explain the views of curriculum teachers at Cipondoh Makmur Elementary School regarding the implementation of the 2013 thematic curriculum. 3) Explain the process of implementing the 2013 curriculum thematic in the low class. 4) Formulate the weaknesses and strengths of the 2013 curriculum thematic implementation. 5) Describe the complaints obtained during the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Data collection techniques were carried out by researchers by conducting interviews in the middle of the day and documentation with the curriculum section teacher at SDN Cipondoh Makmur. The data analysis technique used by researchers is to do the first to reduce the data, then to present the data and to verify. The results of the study show that the school in implementing the 2013 curriculum thematic was quite good in its implementation, all teachers as much as possible adjusting teaching and learning activities in accordance with the current curriculum. This can be seen from how the teacher applies learning, looks for a way out of the problem at hand, and evaluates after learning ends.
