Abstract

The leadership of the Prophet is one of the leadership systems that is an example for all Muslims. Islamic education is currently experiencing severe challenges, one of which is the leadership crisis. This research was conducted to find out in depth about the application of the leadership system of the Prophet in Islamic education today. The concept of leadership of the Prophet Muhammad SAW changed the Muslims of his time by using a socio-cultural evaluation process. The method used in the research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are using second data or data that has been made such as journals, books, modules, and the web that can be used as references. The data analysis techniques we use are data reduction, display and conclusion drawing. Each of us is a leader with a big responsibility, is a leader on earth who will carry the responsibility that has been mandated, to contest the three things that need to be done, namely events, actors and time. To be a leader, one must have knowledge. So it is important for Islamic educational institutions to apply the leadership model of the Prophet Muhammad in Islamic education.
