Abstract
This study aims to describe: the implementation of the problem based learning (PBL) model in science learning in grade 5 at SDN PORIS PELAWAD 7. How is the process of implementation and what factors are the obstacles experienced by teachers during the process of applying it in science learning in grade 5. This type of research is qualitative research. The informants in this study were 5th grade teachers. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done with sources and techniques as well as member check. The results showed that: 1.) implementation of the problem based learning (PBL) model: teachers were still difficult and did not understand the implementation of the PBL model in this online learning system. 2.) factors that become obstacles experienced by teachers during the implementation process: from suggestions and infrastructure in schools and difficult learning processes during this pandemic..
