The socioeconomic status or income of the parents of students is one of the factors that can affect student achievement. In connection with this, a descriptive study has been carried out which aims to determine the effect of the economic status of parents on the learning achievement of Arabic students in grade VIII MTs. Baiturrahim Kabar in the 2019/2020 Academic year. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs. Baiturrahim Kabar, amounting to 24 people, while the sample was taken from all class VIII students, which totaled 24 students who were selected by clauster random sampling. The data were collected using a questionnaire which amounted to 10 questions that had been tested for validity. Based on the results of the data analysis, the level of economic status of the parents is low (62.5%). This is inversely proportional to the students' low learning achievement in Arabic which is quite 63% of words. The result of the linear regression equation Y = 3.80 + 0.13x. a constant of 3.80 indicates that the student's Arabic learning achievement is 3.80 without parental income.
