Abstract

The TMQ concept has been applied very successfully in various business and industrial areas in Japan, as well as other countries globally. And TQM began to be adopted in educational institutions around 1980. The application of TQM in educational institutions has been carried out in Indonesia today, and experts have also discussed it in many of his books. but some of it is only on education as a whole, in the sense that it is still very little and there has not even been a discussion discussing the application of TQM, especially in PAI. Because religious education now plays a very important role in improving and instilling good morals for the successors of the Indonesian nation. Therefore, it is very necessary to find a way to improve the quality of religion, especially Islam. TQM is one way of management involving all elements of the organization carried out on an ongoing basis in order to get quality results as desired. Therefore, this journal will discuss how the implementation and role of TMQ in Islamic religious education, using library research methods or decision research methods.
