Pelatihan Metode Jarimatika pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Dusun Muhajirin Desa Terong Tawah

Abstract
The purpose of this service activity is to provide knowledge to elementary school students at Muhajirn hamlet about multiplication are using the Jarimatika method. The multiplication introduced in the training is multiplication from 1 to 9. This service activity is conducted in 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The activity participants were followed by elementary school students grades III to VI all the participations is 10 children. Based on the Jarimatika method training activities, the children were very enthusiastic in participating in the training activities, this could be seen from the children's motivation to answer and demonstrate the Jarimatika method when the activities conducted. The results of the practice questions showed that 80% the children answered the multiplication questions correctly. The service activity can increase ability of elementary school students in memorize basic multiplications.
